The evening celebration will commemorate the history and contributions of those who helped shape Gwinnett County, recognize the community’s present-day change agents and highlight Gwinnett’s bright future for generations to enjoy.
The year long torch run, which began last December, will complete its 200-mile stretch around the county on December 15th at the Bicentennial Celebration! The night will also include performances from local cultural influencers, the honoring of past trailblazers and accomplishments, and blowing out the candles on 200 years of Gwinnett success! As we eagerly and anxiously await Gwinnett’s party of a lifetime, Gwinnett citizens and stakeholders are invited to join the celebration now!

But whatever should I wear?
Fun dressy casual/cocktail attire…think about what you’d wear if you were going out for the night for your best friend’s birthday party…now pretend your best friend is Gwinnett County!
What time should I arrive?
Gwinnett is a vibrantly diverse community and we are celebrating that at 6:oo pm at our Cultural Cocktail Party before we move to the Exhibit Hall for the dinner celebration starting at 7:00 pm.
Where should I park? The Infinite Energy Center parking lot is a construction zone…
Yes it is…but we have a plan. Valet parking will be offered in the circle drive and others may park in the lots designated on this map, and ride the complimentary shuttle to and from your car. Don’t worry, the party will start on the shuttle…and the entire circuit only lasts 10 minutes (you may NOT want to get off the bus).
